iFilm English Channel to air ‘Detective Alavi 1’

iFilm English Channel has scheduled the series ‘Detective Alavi 1’ to go on screen on October 6.

Directed by Hassan Hedayat, the series is to replace ‘The Friendly Ghost’.

A synopsis to the series ‘Detective Alavi 1’ reads, “Detective Alavi is an experienced and respected officer at Tehran’s criminal investigation department. He is among only a handful of officers on the force who still relies on police instincts and clues to hunt down fugitives.

Follow him as he solves some of the most complicated criminal cases of his time along with the help of his trusted assistant, Lieutenant Doudkar”.

Ahmad Najafi and Saeed Pirdoust are among the actors who have taken a role in the series.

The series will broadcast every night at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 04:00, 10:00, 16:00 (all GMT times).
